Our Rubber Ducky Isopods Cubaris sp 5 Count Cup make great clean-up crews and will make easy work cleaning up any reptile habitats and enclosures they encounter. Rubber ducky isopods are known worldwide for their duck like faces! Native to Thailand, rubber ducky isopods prefer higher humidity than your average species.
They love damp moss and lots of places to hide. Rubber ducky isopods should always have a constant source of leaf litter, protein source, and calcium source. Once acclimated, rubber duckys are known to breed all year round. Adult rubber ducky isopods reach around 20mm (0.79 inches). They are moderate breeders but do well once established. They have small broods of around 5-15 and their gestation period is around 60 days.

What do Rubber Ducky Isopods Cubaris sp 5 Count Cup Eat?
Isopods are detrivores so they eat decaying plants, animals and wood as previsously mentioned. They love to eat rotting wood and oak leaves. We feed all of ours Cuttlebone, dried shrimp, bug burger, morning wood, squash, carrots, potatoes, and a steady supply of live oak leaves.
Is There Other Food I Can Use?
Isopods should always have a steady supply of decaying wood and leaf litter. They will also eat vegetables like potatoes, squash, carrots, and zucchini. They love Repashy bug burger and Morning wood but these food sources should only be offered several times a week. For protein you can switch between dried shrimp, fish flakes, and black solider fly larva.
